If you've been jones-ing for more Paul Heyman in your life while Brock Lesnar is on extended vacation, an infusion may be on its way - but not on Raw, SmackDown or maybe even WWE Network.
An exclusive report from The Wrap, says the acclaimed Advocate is filming the pilot for a new "unscripted" (aka reality) show focusing on his life as a single father running his Looking4Larry marketing company out of Manhattan.
The series sprang from a documentary short done as part of Heyman's recent content deal with Yahoo, which followed the Looking4Larry co-founder and his team of "advocates" for a day of viral marketing.
With several production companies interested in developing the show with him, Heyman chose Left/Right Productions (who've worked on numerous non-fiction series for networks ranging from PBS to VH1) primarily for their location nearby in New York City. In addition to Heyman and some of the 15 employees of the agency, the cameras will also follow his partner Mitchell K. Stuart as they work in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Heyman described the show as:
It's a day in the life of the Looking4Larry agency and all of the many problems that we are forced to solve. It's the juggling act.
I'm a single parent looking to demonstrate to his children that you can work your ass off and have the time of your life doing it. I sleep two hours a night, so if I don't keep busy, I end up getting myself in a lot of trouble.
At least now if I get in trouble, it'll make for good television!
Filming for the pilot episode is underway. No word yet on a debut date or network home.
Sound good? Surprised WWE Network wasn't bidding on this, or think maybe they still will? Or are you just happy for more Heyman in your life, regardless where it comes from?
