WWE.com today broke news of another qualifying match for the Global Cruiserweight Series (GCS).
The United Kingdom's Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro) will hold a qualifier on May 1 at their show in London's The Cockpit. At least so far, RevPro only has one bout announced, unlike the two each partner promotions EVOLVE and Progress are getting.
Like the Progress qualifier, RevPro's features someone Triple H had already announced as one of the field of 32 for the GCS, which films in June for broadcast in July on WWE Network. Scottish-Isreali wrestler Noam Dar was among the names Hunter revealed before TakeOver: Dallas, but it now looks like he'll have to win against Josh Bodom - a prospect who has worked with both former NXT champ Finn Bálor and fellow GCS competitor Tommaso Ciampa in the past.
Does Bodom have a legitimate chance, or was this play-in bracket spoiled before it was announced.
We'll let you know when RevPro's Live at The Cockpit 8 show is in the books.
