We're about two and a half weeks away from the next Ring of Honor (ROH) pay-per-view (PPV), and the surrounding live shows they'll be doing with New Japan talent.
The Japanese stars are coming over to North America more frequently, as this early Summer trip comes just a few months after they were here for February's 14th Anniversary show and they'll be back in August for Death Before Dishonor, but it's still kind of a big deal when American & Canadian crowds get a chance to see guys like Kazuchika Okada and Hiroshi Tanahasi live.
Global Wars will be broadcast on traditional and internet PPV on Sunday, May 8 from Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Tickets are still available for the show at the Frontier Fieldhouse for the 8PM Bell Time. Booked for the card so far:
Jay Lethal (c) vs. Colt Cabana for the ROH World championship
War Machine (c) vs. The Briscoes for the ROH World Tag Team championship
Jushin "Thunder" Liger & Cheeseburger vs. The Addiction (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian)
Tomohiro Ishii (c) vs. Bobby Fish for the ROH Television title
Kelly Klein vs. Crazy Mary Dobson in an internet exclusive Women of Honor pre-show match
Also scheduled to appear: IWGP World Heavyweight champion Tetsuya Naito, IWGP World Tag champs the Guerillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) & IWGP Jr. Heavyweight champ KUSHIDA
The PPV kicks off the tour, which continues the next night in Dearborn, Michigan at the Ford Community Center before heading North of the border for a Toronto show on Wednesday, May 11 which will include IWGP Intercontinental champ and Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega.
Things wrap up on Saturday, May 14 in New York City at Terminal 5. You can get tickets for all shows here.
