Wrestling world remembers Chyna

Yahoo TV on Twitter

Due to most of the time when the news broke and the WWE crew being in Europe, there weren't a lot of messages from sports entertainers and wrestling performers in the hours immediately following Chyna's passing.

With more time, those thoughts have been coming on Twitter and Facebook (even as another celebrity death takes her place atop the entertainment news). Here are a sampling:

Sorry to hear about the passing of #JoanieLaurer. We didn't always see eye to eye, but we had a lot of fun.

You will always be in our hearts. Thank you for everything you have done for women in this crazy business. I love you Joanie forever. I will be off social media for a few days. This news was too devastating.

Coming home from @knokxpro training tonight only to hear this . Rest easy my friend . Thank you for gracing the ring with you #tillwemeetagain #RipIconChyna Never to a close line like this from one of the toughest female wrestlers I know http://youtu.be/LgehxQloz40#GoneTooSoon

Feel free to add others you see in the comments below, or share your own thoughts and remembrances of Chyna.

And join us in sending our thoughts and prayers to those in and out of the wrestling business whose lives she touched.
