NXT has put a bow tie around its TakeOver: Dallas live event from the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center as the promotion wrapped up the show tonight (Friday, April 1, 2016) - local time, anyway - with Finn Bálor turning Samoa Joe over while in a choke hold to keep his NXT title.

Was it the best match on the card?

Honestly, probably not, because two matches earlier, Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn lived up to the hype. Elsewhere, we crowned new women's and tag team champs, and Austin Aries got the better of Baron Corbin.
