Rumor Roundup (April 19, 2016): WWE power struggle, Finn Bálor call-up, Wyatt Family plans, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Looks like The Authority will be back soon, but Triple H & Stephanie McMahon's return will start the end of the gimmick. A feud with Shane is expected to start by next Monday's Raw.
  • The usual rumors about NXT champ Finn Bálor went around before Raw in London yesterday. There aren't plans for an immediate call-up, but his social media silence is designed to create speculation since it is expected hell be on the main roster some time this year.
  • Bray Wyatt's injury has the Payback card in a bit of flux, since a six-man with League of Nations was planned for the show. It's expected Braun Strowman & Erick Rowan will be kept off television until Wyatt is ready to return from his calf issue (still no word on the severity).
  • Despite only being mentioned during the eight-woman bout on Raw, Emma vs. Becky Lynch is still planned for the next pay-per-view (PPV) - possibly as the Kickoff match.
  • In addition to reports of the Harris twins being potentially buyers and back-payment to their Aroluxe marketing firm potentially triggering a sale, PWInsider says their sources indicate that three potential partners are in negotiations with Dixie Carter. One of them may be leaking stories to the press to advance their cause.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
