- Samoa Joe (1 - 0) captures the first fall via pin following a Muscle Buster after approximately 20 minutes
- Sami Zayn (1 - 1) takes the second fall via submission by Koji Clutch after approximately 10 minutes
- Samoa Joe (2 - 1) wins the final fall and the match via submission (KO) by Coquina Clutch after approximately 10 minutes
- Samoa Joe defeats Sami Zayn in a two-out-of-three falls match to become the #1 contender for the NXT championship
