Now that the class is pretty much complete, we can turn our attention to the rest of the ceremony which will take place on Sat., Apr. 2 in Dallas when the WWE Hall of Fame welcomes nine wrestlers into its virtual walls.
Working chronilogically backwards from when they were announced, WWE.com today broke the news that the newest name revealed for induction, Stan Hansen, will be introduced by probably his most famous rival, Vader. The announcement comes along with a rundown of their history through the territories, over to Japan and back to WCW. Expect to hear a lot about the Tokyo Dome match where "The Lariat" popped Big Van's eyeball out of his head over the next couple weeks.
We have a pretty good idea who a number of the other presenters will be, even if they haven't gotten the full WWE press release treatment yet. Ric Flair has said he'll induct Sting, and JBL says he and Ron Simmons will do the honors for the Godfather.
Kevin Von Erich is supposed to be at the ceremony, and many have connected him to the Fabulous Freebirds. Ted DiBiase will speak for the late Big Bossman, while Mark Henry is inducting his fellow Texan, Jacqueline.
How's the show sounding to you, Cagesiders?
