Though it's a little unusual to take us all to REMATCH CITY after only six episodes of the season, that's where Lucha Underground will send us tonight.

It helps that they're two matches with really good wrestlers, whose stories have continued since their initial encounters of the season.

Interestlingly, though, their feuds haven't developed all that much. Prince Puma's relationship with Pentagon, Jr. hasn't changed much since Puma got his shoulder up at the last second to avoid a double pin. And though this is actually rubber match of a trio of bouts between King Cuerno and Fenix in 2016, their conflict is largely one of competition.

Each of those four men actually have a common foe and objective. They're all feuding with Catrina in hopes of getting a title shot against Mil Muertes. That the champ sits in his throne, nursing the broken arm Pentagon gave him, while the current proprietor of the Temple is bamfing around the joint keeping his top rivals busy fighting each other is... genius, really. Evil, but smart.

So you bet we'll watch these two matches, but as we do, we'll be wondering if the Disciples of Death killed Konnan. And what price Pentagon will pay for following his (heavily medicated) Dark Master Vampiro's instructions to mess with Catrina? Also, what did was the deal struck with Cuerno to hold the Gift of the Gods, and who's reneging? Plus, since he's risen from the dead and is the embodiment and rebirth and all, can anything stop Fenix from getting to Mil?

Meanwhile, Dario Cueto's brother, who killed their mother with a ceramic bull and has been practicing for a takeover of the Temple by eating underground fight fans, gets closer to being ready to lead the charge into Boyle Heights.

If Rey Mysterio, El Dragon Azteca, Jr. and Aerostar don't find a way to unite the Aztec Tribes first.

Which doesn't even cover the Johnny Mundo/Cage program, how The Mack will help Sexy Star deal with Marty the Moth and his sister, or the LAPD's investigation into LU.

See you tonight.
