Not wanting to waste any of the two weeks they have between now and TakeOver: Dallas on Apr. 1, NXT went ahead and rolled out the rest of the line-up for the show on their Mar. 16 episode.
After giving Sami Zayn a dream match against an incoming superstar, and booking the one women's showdown they've been protecting for months, they arrived at the tag team championship match everyone has been expecting since the moment Dash & Dawson defeated Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady in London.
The hottest tag team in WWE, Chad Gable & Jason Jordan, will look to fulfill their legacy as amateur champions by claiming their first professional gold in Texas. They officially earned the right with a victory over former tag champs the Vaudevillains. Aiden English & Simon Gotch join the Ascension and Blake & Murphy as previous titleholders American Alpha has taken out - and now they'll look to end the Revival's reign at the pre-WrestleMania live show.
On Friday night of Mania week, NXT will put on a show that features:
- Finn Bálor (c) vs. Samoa Joe for the NXT championship
- Asuka vs. Bayley (c) for the Women's championship
- American Alpha vs. The Revival (c) for the Tag Team championship
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn
- Austin Aries vs. Baron Corbin
