Rumor Roundup (Mar. 16, 2016): Chris Jericho shooting on Raw, The Rock's role at WrestleMania 32, WWE returns, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The interaction between Chris Jericho and Charles Robinson in the ring after Neville's injury on Raw this week was apparently a shoot, according to the Observer. Not only that, but Jericho's post-match promo on AJ Styles wasn't planned beforehand.
  • According to the Observer, there still hasn't been a decision made on what role The Rock will serve at WrestleMania 32 but he will be heavily involved in the decision making process.
  • WWE is expecting to have many of its top level stars -- John Cena, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Cesaro -- back in time for SummerSlam.
  • The Observer notes recent rumors of Triple H meeting with Kurt Angle at the Arnold Classic are not true and the two didn't interact with each other at all.
  • Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting TNA had plans to push Ken Anderson before he was fired by failing a drug test.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
