She was rumored to be among the last two inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame this year, and today, the company made it official. Dallas' own Jacqueline Moore will be enshrined with Sting, the Godfather, the Fabulous Freebirds and Big Boss Man on April 2 at the American Airlines Center in her hometown, the night before WrestleMania 32.
Moore, who often worked by just her first name or Jackie, was trained and debuted in Dallas' famed Sportatorium for WCCW before moving east to Memphis and eventually WCW and the WWF.
In her most famous run for Vince McMahon's company in the late 90s and early Aughts, Moore won both the Women's and Cruiserweight while feuding and teaming with the likes of Marc Mero, Sable, Trish Stratus, Victoria, Jazz and Chavo Guerrero.
After leaving WWE in 2004, she worked on and off for TNA before her last match in 2013.
Moore will be the eighth woman inducted into the Hall.
It's expected Stan Hanson will be announced next week to round out this year's class.
