Rumor Roundup (Mar. 11, 2016): Backstage issues at WWE, Shane McMahon promo problems, New Day plans, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • A fun rumor from the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter: the "Vince McMahon vs. Triple H dynamic is something that everyone is talking about internally, even more since Shane McMahon appeared on the scene." Dave Meltzer outright says to decide for yourself how much is legit or exaggerated regarding issues with Shane being back and internal strife.
  • More on that: Apparently Shane McMahon has gotten lost doing his promos over the past couple weeks and Vince covered well for him the first time and a late rewrite may be to blame on the last one.
  • Even more on that: There's more talk of "internal perception" that Vince McMahon doesn't love NXT the way Triple H says he does in interviews.
  • New Day vs. League of Nations has been the planned match for WrestleMania 32 but apparently there's talk of turning it into a multi-team match.
  • According to the Observer, Lucha Underground is close to closing a deal with Netflix for season one.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
