Finn Bálor and Bayley re-enact Dirty Dancing in the latest NXT house show awesomeness

Over the past few weeks, everybody's been shipping the NXT champs Bayley and Finn Bálor due to their NXT house show escapades. It's gotten to where the men's champ may have moved on from his stated OTP, at least if the hashtagging he's been doing of late is any indication.

At the Feb. 25 event in Orlando, the pair took things to the next level. This was more than just adorably impersonating the other's entrance. This was high romance.

After defeating Samoa Joe & Nia Jax in a mixed tag main event, Bay-lor got caught up in their emotions and re-enacted a scene from one of the most beloved motion picture courtships of all time.

I'm speaking, of course, of Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey in Dirty Dancing (or, if you're a non-romantic type, Ryan Gosling's method of closing the deal with one-night stands from Crazy Stupid Love... but even then, he ends falling head over heels for Emma Stone after using it on her, so you're pretty much stuck with the lovey-dovey stuff, sorry).

As you can see in the above video, they keep things more G-rated than either of those films by starting off coy and shy, but they do build to the big moment where Bayley leaps to Finn and he holds her aloft in a move guaranteed to win the end-of-season talent show (or lead to sweaty, after-last call intercourse/night-long, soul-bearing conversation).

We may reach a point where these adorable antics wear out their welcome, but I doubt it. For one thing, you'd have to be pretty hard-hearted to not get a kick out of them. And for another, one or both of these crazy kids is going to get a call-up to a world where there's not time for this - and they won't be main eventing house shows.

But those are worries for another day.

For tonight, Bay-lor and the entire NXT Universe should continue having the time of their lives.
