WWE NXT live results (Dec. 7, 2016): Samoa Joe vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in Osaka

WWE.com

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network.

Check out our Wednesday morning preview post to get caught up on what's been happening, and what we expect this week.

We'll post match results here, and we will also have our regular reactions post later. In the meantime, and most importantly, this gives you Cagesiders a dedicated place to rave and/or bitch about whatever happens on WWE’s third brand - during its initial broadcast!

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcasts (including here), but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

Enjoy the show!

- New tag champs #DIY return to Full Sail for the first time since winning the titles; after celebrating with the crowd, Paul Ellering and the Authors of Pain’s music hit before Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa can speak

- Ellering speaks about the Authors third chapter when The Revival come out. Dash & Dawson say they’re the rightful #1 contenders, and AoP only won the Dusty because they bowed out. Akam & Rezar push the Revival down, and the scene ends with a three-way standoff as Ellering says the next chapter ends with his boys as champs.

- Percy Watson intro package as he joins Corey Graves & Tom Phillips at the announce desk

- No Way Jose & Rich Swann are set to face SAnitY. Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe & Nikki Cross are out without Sawyer Fulton; Young makes a show of stomping Fulton’s jacket and throwing it up the ramp before the bell.

- SAnitY (EY & Wolfe) def. Swann & Jose via pinfall (Young on No Way following his wheelbarrow neckbreaker) with an assist from a debuting (Big) Damo. The Irishman picks up Fulton’s jacket and examine, but throws it down before exiting.

- William Regal announces #DIY vs. Revival will happen on Jan. 18 with the winner getting AoP at TakeOver: San Antonio; Tye Dillinger enters Regal’s office to resign, but Regal offers him a spot in the #1 contenders tournament which starts next week

- Dasha tries to interview SAnitY about the situation with Damo. EY doesn’t stop to talk to her, but Nikki spies the Women’s title, leading to a brief staredown with Asuka.

- Ember Moon def. Kimber Lee via pinfall after Eclipse

- Shinsuke Nakamura def. Samoa Joe via pinfall following Kinshasa to regain the NXT championship in Osaka, Japan
