WWE World champion was able to retain his title this past Sunday, Dec. 4 in a tables, ladders and chairs match at TLC, despite a “minor ankle injury” and a serious rip in the seat of his ring gear. The latter was caused by a bent chair leg that also left a cut on his “butt cheek”.
We’re still waiting to learn how the ankle will effect him - he’s still talking up his planned title match with James Ellsworth on SmackDown tonight (Dec. 6), so hopefully not too much - but the Phenomenal One is sharing some details about the tear that caused a scare.
For one thing, you were not about to see his butthole...

A lot of fans were wondering why AJ didn’t have on briefs or some other form of undergarment beneath his tights. Styles explained that’s an aesthetic choice:
