Smarks help Broken Matt Hardy bury promising talent of all ages

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE's Roadblock: End of the Line pay-per-view (PPV), the Dec. 19 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live 205 Live, Wednesday's Lucha UndergroundNXT ROH TV, Thursday's TNA Impact, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Dec. 18 - 24, 2016.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

The Lake of Reincarnation has been very good to TNA this year.

  • Many House Hardy members received votes, but they whole clan and other Total Nonstop Deletion participants will have to settle for their Broken patriarch winning the week.
  • That delightful episode prohibited SmackDown from taking the top spot, but Dec. 13's main event angle got lots of love - headlined by a Wyatt Family member doing things that made you say "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah"... and of course the World and Intercontinental champs.
  • She wasn't in the main, but it doesn't matter - the blue brand's Women's titleholder can do no wrong in Your eyes these days.
  • The New Day have not been nearly the presence in the S3 this year that they were in the previous one, but their record breaking Monday night landed all three men in the top ten - along with a certain Swiss Superman who turned a hot tag into a video game.
  • A sub-200 pound English Gentleman is a breakout star in WWE. Wrestling will miss you, 2016.
