Talent injured at NXT tapings pulls out of Dec. bookings, under WWE-supervised medical observation in Florida

Anthony Bowens, the independent wrestler involved in a botched spot at Wednesday’s NXT taping at Full Sail Live, announced on Twitter that he’s pulling out of his December bookings as a result of the injuries he received while tagging with Johnny Vandal against Authors of Pain (you can see video and pictures of the incident here):

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Bowens, a 25 year old New Jersey native who’s trained with WrestlePro’s Pat Buck, suffered a concussion when Akam powerbombed Vandal onto him on Nov. 30. Though he was able to leave the ring area under his own power, WWE medical staff diagnosed the head injury immediately and the wrestler is staying in Florida while company officials monitor his progress.

Join us in sending out best wishes to Bowens for a complete recovery.
