IPW:UK joins the FloSlam team

IPW:UK

FloSlam announced their first international partner this morning, International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom, commonly referred to as IPW:UK.

All of IPW:UK’s Supershows for 2017 will be live on FloSlam exclusively, starting with Supershow VI on January 22 and continuing every odd-numbered month. No matches have been announced for that one yet, but Flo didn’t send us home without something to chew on, no sir.

Coming to the archive shortly before Christmas will be Supershow V, set to happen on December 18. With a main event of Cody Rhodes vs. Will Ospreay as well as Matt Riddle vs. Zack Sabre, Jr. and Jimmy Havoc defending his IPW:UK World Championship against former All-England Champion Sammy Smooth in an “I Quit” match, it’s gonna be a hoot.

What that one will not be, however, is live, as it will be the very first FloSlam World Premiere show, which will be archive shows that will air “live” on stream. In addition to archive material, going forward these World Premiere shows will provide an outlet for promotions and venues for which live streaming is impossible, as they join the Flo lineup.

One of the UK’s longest-running indies (having started in 2004), IPW’s roster is a familiar mix of UK standouts and international superstars, as evidenced by the card above and their champions. Havoc’s world title reign is joined by Mickie James being the current IPW:UK Women’s Champion and the Swords of Essex (configured as Paul Robinson & Scott Wainwright) holding the IPW:UK Tag Team Championship.

There you have it, folks.

FloSlam keep adding promotions and the value a subscription holds increases and increases. Who’s excited for more wrestling?
