AJ Styles is still the champ who sparks the Smarks

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - EVOLVE 75, the Dec. 12 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday's SmackDown Live 205 Live, Wednesday's Lucha Underground, WWE Tribute to the TroopsNXT ROH TV, Thursday's TNA Impact Total Nonstop DELETION, and any other internet streaming wrestling that aired from Dec. 11 - 17, 2016.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Look. The mans' won so many weeks, I'm fresh out of funny pics and "clever" comments.

Go watch his dumb but awesome Instagram video again.

  • SmackDown dominated the Standings even more than usual thanks to TLC, with the Phenomenal One and the Lunatic Fringe representing for the men at the top, along with an Awesome Intercontinental champ who started a feud with Dean on the fallout show.
  • The new Women's titleist on Team Blue grabbed the third spot, with the pissed off Irishwoman she put through a table a few spots behind.
  • Raw's women held it down for Monday nights, with the Queen's main event heeling landing her in the top five, while the champ only picked up a couple points in ninth.
  • A guy successfully leading a team on Tuesdays was smack in the middle of the weekly S3, while one who's best friendship is in shambles on the red brand managed eighth.
  • Two guys on opposite sides of EVOLVE's Dec. 10tag title fight split the ten spot.

The S3: 2016-17, Week 36

Points in our weekly Standings determine our annual list - full details on rules and scoring HERE.

More of the same at the top, but plenty of intrigue throughout the year-to-date top ten, as the A-Lister passes the Boss, BEX moves in front of the Architect, and Little Miss Bliss knocks the Big Dog off the list.
