Over the Top Wrestling joins the FloSlam team

FloSlam’s international search for wrestling partners rolls on, with Irish indie Over the Top Wrestling announced as joining the lineup today.

Much like Beyond and PWX, it’s not a full-time agreement just yet, but two shows this weekend will be taped for later broadcast and VOD distribution on FloSlam. Let’s go ahead and take a look at the announced matches for the shows Sermon on the Mat style and see what we’re in for, then!

OTT The Dream Before Christmas (December 17)

1. Big Hangovers (Jordan Devlin & Shawn Maxer) vs. Dave Mastiff & Fabian Aichner
2. Gymnasties (B. Cool & Sammy D) (c) vs. Kings of the North (Bonesaw & Damien Corvin) (OTT Tag Team Championship)
3. Ricochet vs. Will Ospreay

OTT Christmas Invasion Belfast (December 18)

1. Katey Harvey vs. Kay Lee Ray vs. Session Moth Martina
2. Fabian Aichner vs. Joe Coffey
3. Marty Scurll vs. Ricochet

For being half the card or less on each show, those are pretty good lookin’, and it’s especially nice to see Cruiserweight Classic standout Fabian Aichner again! Him vs. the Iron Man ought to be a blast, folks. Plus the obvious value in the Ricochet matches, a sweet women’s triple threat, and while I’m not familiar with any of the local tag teams on offer there, half the joy of indie wrestling is starting a match not knowing somebody and coming to love their work by the end of it.

These shows will be broadcast live from the archive, the Dream Before Christmas premiering on December 28 at 8:30PM Eastern and Christmas Invasion Belfast following suit at the same time on the next day. And then, of course, both shows will be available on VOD thereafter.
