Dusty Classic finals, 2-out-of-3 falls tag title match confirmed for TakeOver: Toronto

WWE Network

With less than two weeks before TakeOver: Toronto, the latest NXT live special on WWE Network, the brand put what could be the finishing touches on the Nov. 19 card with their latest episode.

The battle to determine who the second team to hold the Dusty Cup was set when Australians Shane Thorne & Nick Miller snuck out a win over Eric Young’s SAnitY stable, and when Dash & Dawson helped Paul Ellering’s Authors of Pain defeat Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano in semi-final bouts.

Because of The Revival’s interference in their long-standing rivals match, General Manager William Regal also added a rematch of their show-stealing Brooklyn affair to the pre-Survivor Series show, and the tag belts will be on the line when Gargano & Ciampa try to take the tag belts away from Dash & Dawson.

Those two matches will join three others already announced:

- Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Samoa Joe for the NXT championship
- Mickie James vs. Asuka (c) for the NXT Women’s championship
- #DIY vs. The Revival (c) in a 2-out-of-3 falls match for the NXT Tag titles
- Authors of Pain vs. TM-61 in the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Classic Tag Team Tournament
- Bobby Roode vs. Tye Dillinger

Like the looks of it? Does the two to two-and-a-half hour show need one or two more?

UPDATE: Paul Ellering will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage for the Dusty finals!
