Rumor Roundup (Nov. 26, 2016): Daniel Bryan feuds, Randy Orton absence, NXT plans, more!

WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Daniel Bryan will continue to be heavily involved in feuds as General Manager of SmackDown Live because WWE feels he can help get a lot of guys over. That's why they continue running with the Miz angle and have started up with the Baron Corbin stuff.
  • Randy Orton is off for the week, and may miss television next week due to the birth of his daughter. He shouldn't be out long.
  • There don't appear to be any plans to call up Samoa Joe anytime soon, and that's one of the reasons he won the title from Shinsuke Nakamura at TakeOver: Toronto.
  • Further, it looks entirely possible Nakamura will win it back in Osaka early next month.
  • The Observer notes there were multiple late changes in match winners for TakeOver: Toronto, notably the tag title change and Authors of Pain winning the Dusty Classic.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
