WWE.com

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • According to the Observer, the pitch for the Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg match was to present it like a fight, where the announcers would treat it like one, and the finish would be much like something you would see in an MMA fight.
  • The reason the two are being put in the Royal Rumble match is to avoid having the rematch until WrestleMania 33.
  • The idea behind Raw winning the women's and tag team matches at Survivor Series was they would need it when SmackDown won the big men's match.
  • Don't be surprised if The Wyatt Family win the tag team titles before passing them off to American Alpha as the big way to get Jordan and Gable over.
  • Apparently WWE is trying to block Ryback from using The Big Guy for his nutritional supplement line, according to the Observer.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
