- WWE is discussing having Undertaker face AJ Styles at Royal Rumble 2017 - if Taker’s hip is fully recovered and rehabbed in time - according to the latest Wrestling Observer.
- John Cena may have spent part of his current hiatus filming a cameo for Marvel Studios. He’s listed as playing himself in next year’s Thor: Ragnarok on IMDB.
- There will be a NXT TakeOver in San Antonio the Saturday before Royal Rumble, says Dave Meltzer.
- Steve Corino is finishing up with Ring of Honor next month and headed to the WWE Performance Center for a training job, per ProWrestling.net.
- Gran Metalik (Máscara Dorada), Akira Tozawa and Jack Gallagher are all expected to get pushes on 205 Live.
