The big Black Friday week of World Wrestling Network announcements rolls on, folks! First they told us FIP was getting a shakeup, then we got the awesome announcement that Style Battle is being spun off into its own promotion, and now, they’re crowning a champion who will defend his title across all WWN promotions.

Details are thin on the ground, but there will be a tournament to crown the first champion culminating at next year’s edition of Mercury Rising on April 1. Seeing as how that event is billed as being Evolve vs. Progress, it’s even possible the first champion will be someone who isn’t even in the WWN family as yet.

Also as part of the newsmail announcing the title, WWN reiterated the positioning of each promotion in their family, as follows:

-EVOLVE: The prestige men's promotion.

-SHINE: The prestige women's promotion.

-Full Impact Pro: The Wild West promotion.

-Style Battle: A tournament based promotion.

-American Combat Wrestling: The old school, regional promotion

-WWN Supershow: A conglomerate of all the promotions on one special event.

There you have it, folks

One champion to rule them all, proverbially speaking. Anybody you’d like to see be the inaugural champion, Cagesiders?
