Full spoilers from NXT’s Nov. 19 & 22 tapings in Canada

New, comments

With two Wednesday night WWE Network episodes to fill before their next scheduled taping at Full Sail Live on Nov. 30, NXT taped several matches while in Canada for TakeOver: Toronto/Survivor Series weekend.

These will presumably be used on the Nov. 23 & 30th shows, along with highlights from the Nov. 19 live special, backstage interviews and other non-wrestling material.

Taped prior to TakeOver:

- Rich Swann vs. Kona Reeves ended a no-contest when SAnitY (Eric Young, Alexander Wolfe, Sawyer Fulton & Nikki Cross)came out and wrecked everybody, with Swann taking Young’s wheelbarrow-elevated-neckbreaker. EY then cut a promo saying they tried playing by the rules, but no more.

- While Swann was being looked after by trainers, No Way Jose challenged Eric Young to a singles match. Before that match could happen, SAnitY beat down Jose and left him laying in the ring. Nikki slipped the first time doing the top rope stomp to Jose’s back and came up a bit short, so they re-did the spot. Sounds like they may have re-done it again at the SmackDown tapings… (thanks to Cagesider AntonSirius for clarification on these segments!)

- Peyton Royce & Billie Kay recruited Daria Berenato to face Liv Morgan, Aliyah (who’s from Toronto and got a big pop) & Ember Moon. Moon won the match for her team with the Eclipse, her diving corkscrew stunner.

Taped prior to the Nov. 22 SmackDown:

- Asuka def. former Shimmer champ and Canadian Ninja for life Nicole Matthews (thanks to Cagesider Teckelmaster for that scoop)

- Eric Young def. No Way Jose; after the match, Nikki nailed Jose with the stomp

- Samoa Joe def. Tye Dillinger via submission with a Coquina Clutch (described as a good match; Tye got in a lot of offense and very over)
