A chat with Andy Quildan of Revolution Pro Wrestling about their upcoming Global Wars shows and the burgeoning UK scene

It's been a pretty amazing year for Revolution Pro Wrestling.

From AJ Styles dropping their top belt to Zack Sabre, Jr. on the eve of his WWE debut at Royal Rumble to the controversial Vader vs. Will Ospreay match and on to a buzzed about card for their Summer Sizzler show which featured stars from their home country, Ring of Honor (ROH) and New Japan, the UK promotion has been on on fans' lips and Twitter feeds throughout 2016.

They're about to be a big topic of conversation among fans of independent and international wrestling once again, as their second round of Global Wars shows with New Japan are coming our way on Nov. 10 - 11. These shows will feature more dream matches, including a rematch of Sabre vs. NEVER Openweight champ Katsuyori Sibata from Summer Sizzler, Chris Hero vs. Tomohiro Ishii, PWG Battle of Los Angeles winner Marty Scurll vs. Jushin Thunder Liger, a six-man featuring Los Ingobernables de Japon vs. Mark Haskins,Tyler Bate & Trent Seven and more.

So when my colleague Keith Harris set got a chance to chat with their founder and owner Andy Quildan, we recorded that bad boy so we could share it with you here at Cageside.

In the above video, we talk to Andy about RevPro's place on the scene in the UK and beyond, what's a special time in British wrestling with once-in-a-generation talents like Ospreay, Sabre, Pete Dunne and others all breaking out at a young age, their partnership with New Japan (and relationship with ROH and CMLL), his approach to booking shows and balancing appearances by big names like Vader or Kurt Angle while still delivering ongoing stories with regular roster members, our shared love of the artform of pro wrestling, and wherever else our conversation took us.

Hope you enjoy listening to it as much as Keith and I did chatting with Andy.
