Lucha Underground on Instagram

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of Lucha Underground in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on El Rey Network.

Here, we’ll keep you up on of all the happenings in Boyle Heights here while the show airs. Later, you’ll get a regular reactions post. In addition to a way for folks to keep up, this space is for you to rave and/or bitch about whatever goes down on the hottest new concept to hit pro wrestling in ages - during its initial broadcast!

El Rey is available via the cable and satellite providers list on their webpage here. If one of those is your hook-up and you can't find the channel on your box, reach out to them and ask for it. If you don't see your provider listed or you've cut the cord, you can find El Rey on the Sling streaming subscription service here and here. Or you can order the episodes on iTunes here.

NOTE: Spoilers are out there for these pre-taped broadcast, but many Cagesiders don't partake. If you are going to post or discuss spoilers for this show before they happen, or results of future shows, please use the spoiler bar in your comment.

ANOTHER NOTE: Do not post links to pirate streams or other unlicensed means of watching the show. We all wish it was easier to get El Rey, and trust them when they tell us they're working on it. In the meantime, keep it legal while you're hanging at cSs.

Alright, folks, let's Lucha!

Gonna be a little light tonight, as I’m pulling double duty. But Manolo will be along later with a full recap and review (Kyle’s sweating his Mets wild card game tonight).

Dario spins the wheel, and Prince Puma will face Matanza tonight!

Ivelisse def. Mariposa via pinfall with a sunset flip powerbomb

Marty the Moth rushes the ring and attacks Ivelisse; he and his sister celebrate

El Jefe is on the phone telling someone not to worry about Puma regaining the title tonight when Johnny Mundo. Mundo lobbies for a Gift of the Gods title shot, saying Sexy Star got pinned last week so she should have to defend it. Cueto gives the shot to Jack Evans since he's the one who pinned the champ. Johnny leaves angry when Dario thanks him for the idea.

Cage def. Texano via pinfall following the Lucha Destroyer to take a 2 - 0 lead in their best of five series for an Ultimate Opportunity

Ivelisse is in the locker room talking to a man named Jeremiah (Sami Callihan!). She reminds him that "his girl" doesn't need his help. She wants to keep her personal life and professional life separate after what happened with Son of Havoc (who Jeremiah calls "Son of Chaos"). He caresses her face and says he know, he just loves beating people up. She wants to go home and have a drink. He produces a flask and takes a swig. She declines, saying "I guess I'm driving".

Matanza def. Prince Puma via pinfall following Wrath of the Gods to retain the LU title. Mil Muertes ran in and destroyed Puma with a Spear and Flatliner, and Dario stopped Marty Elias from calling for the DQ by threatening to fire him if he did. The Cuetos celebrate over a broken Puma while Catrina and Mil look on from ringside.

Killshot lifts weight in the locker room when he's approached by  Joey Ryan. Ryan gives him an envelope someone outside gave him for Killshot (he doesn't know who it was, "what do I look like, a detective?). It contains a burnt note which says "You left me for dead".
