The best-of-five series between Cage and Texano for one of their boss’ “unique opportunities” continues. History shows the winner should probably exercise caution when accepting gifts from Dario Cueto, especially “ultimate” ones. El Jefe has already moved the target on them once, revealing it was a series after Cage won the opener.
None of that is deterring the F’n Machine, however, who is confident he’ll not only win this hoss war, but that it will take him to another shot at Matanza - and a Lucha Underground title win.

Speaking of the monstrous champion and his brother, Dario’s Dial of Doom returns tonight to randomly select another victim opponent for Matanza. With the Gift of the Gods strap tied up in a side-feud between titleholder Sexy Star and the title-obssessed Johnny Mundo, Prince Puma on a quest to destroy death by stalking Mil Muertes and Pentagon Dark having his hands full with Black Lotus, her ninjas and El Dragon Azteca... this may be the only title action we see for a while.
Plus, a first time match-up between Ivelisse and Mariposa, and probably some development in at least one of the simmering side-stories... most of which in some way involve El Jefe.
