Halle Berry representative denies Ric Flair’s story he slept with actress

As mentioned in today’s Rumor Round-up, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair responded to a question from a fan during the #AskNaitch segment on his podcast about celebrities who “rode Space Mountain”, the Nature Boy’s famous euphemism for women he’s had sex with, by saying Academy Award winner Halle Berry slept with him in the 90s.

The claim was greeted with disbelief and laughs, even from Flair’s co-host Conrad Thompson, who even gave Ric an out by asking if he was making the story up. Naitch, who’d already provided details saying it occurred just after Berry divorced baseball player David Justice (the couple’s marriage officially ended in 1997), replied, “would I have to make up a lie?”

TMZ reached out to Berry, and at least according to the representatives they spoke to, she is not taking it as a joke.

One quote, attributed to “sources close to Halle”, reads:

There is NO truth to this! Halle has literally never even heard of him let alone met him!!!

Another, presumably from someone else but still listed as being from an unnamed source, claimed that Berry is “deeply offended” and explained why:

A man doesn't get to sexualize and lie about a woman he's never met to better himself or his name. It's offensive, demeaning and beyond misogynistic.

There has been no response from Flair as of this writing.
