The viewer and ratings numbers are in for last night’s lineup (Oct. 27, 2016) and the numbers for TNA Impact had small increase in viewers compared to last week. 362K people tuned into Impact last night compared to 353K last week. The ratings number stayed steady at 0.08.
Impact advertised some off-site content featuring Matt Hardy’s house at Halloween and the main event of Cody and Brandi Rhodes vs. Mike Bennett and Maria. While those could have drawn eyes (Matt Hardy craziness often draws interest), it’s the lack of competition that likely had a hand in this.
Last night was the travel day for the World Series, so they did not have to compete with baseball. Thursday Night Football was utterly atrocious. Also it was only available on NFL Network and not CBS. NFL Network is not in as many homes as CBS.
TNA is already advertising Bobby Lashley’s title rematch against Eddie Edwards for next week so we will see how many tune in for that.
Here are the numbers for the last month:
- This week: 362K
- October 20: 353K
- October 13: 284K
- October 6: 305K
- September 29: 365K
