Fan favorites Enzo Amore & Big Cass have run afoul of Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson a couple of times over the past few weeks.
Ideologically, there are issues between the two tag teams, as well. After a few attempts at comedy left the fans cold and the New Japan standouts still unable to end the New Day’s title reign, Anderson & Gallows have re-focused on no nonsense brutality. Zo & Cass, on the other hand, make it a point to entertain the crowd with their microphone skills before every match - sometimes showing up in the arena without a scheduled bout just to have some fun.
For all of those reasons, and because they have a pay-per-view (PPV) card to fill out, WWE added a match between the two teams to Sunday’s Hell in a Cell in Boston.
This seems like it could end being on the Kickoff, but as of now, the website lists it for the three hour WWE Network broadcast along with:
- Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens (c) in a Hell in a Cell match for the WWE Universal championship
- Sasha Banks (c) vs. Charlotte in a Hell in a Cell match for the Women’s championship
- Rusev vs. Roman Reigns (c) in a Hell in a Cell match for the United States championship
- New Day (c) vs. Cesaro & Sheamus for the Tag Team titles
- Brian Kendrick vs. TJ Perkins (c) for the Cruiserweight championship
