NXT live event results from Ocala (Oct. 22): SAnitY taking hold

The Reserve Pavilion at Hilton Ocala in Florida.

What happened?

- Adrian Jaoude def. Steve Cutler
- Peyton Royce (with Billie Kay) def. Daria Berenato
- Authors of Pain def. TM-61
- Gabriel Ealy (with Uriel Ealy) def. Mada
- Dory Funk, Jr. interview is interrupted by Elias Samson and leads to...
- Beautiful Blonde Blake def. Samson
- Cedric Alexander def. Patrick Clark
- Ember Moon def. Nikki Cross (disqualification)
- SAnitY (Eric Young, Sawyer Fulton & Alexander Wolfe) def. Shinsuke Nakamura, Rich Swann & Oney Lorcan

What caught our eye?

The Ealy’s infringed on the Bellas gimmick to beat Tough Enough’s Mada, who has done the in-ring interview thing, but was making his wrestling debut...

Just like last time NXT was in Ocala, Dory made an appearance. This Funk runs a wrestling school in the area.

Will be interesting to see if they try Blake as a babyface. Having him seen him live, I believe he’s got the crowd-working skill to do it, but...

...he might want to lose that flavor-saver is he’s gonna be doing meet-and-greets with the kiddos.

Nice spot for Oney & Rich. And while the new faction may have recorded a win and done some ass-kicking, the night ended with a KINSHASA & an Eclipse, and all four babyfaces from the last two matches standing tall.

What's next?

A string of shows in larger venues starts Wednesday in Fresno, California (and reports say some Dusty Classic action will be filmed on the West Coast swing) and Florida action resumes next Thursday in Citrus Springs.
