TNA Impact Ratings (Oct. 20, 2016): Numbers bounce back

TNA YouTube

The viewer and ratings totals from last night’s (Oct. 20, 2016) programs are in, and after a couple slumping weeks, TNA’s numbers bounced back. After dipping below 300K viewers for the first time in a while last week, that number popped up to 353K. The ratings figure also ticked up from 0.07 to 0.08.

TNA advertised a Cody Rhodes TNA title match against champion Eddie Edwards for the show as well as a match between Moose and Bobby Lashley to crown the next #1 contender. The Cody Rhodes title match alone would be enough to draw some more eyes on the product, given he’s still recently removed from the WWE.

TNA was up against the MLB Chicago Cubs/LA Dodgers playoff game, which did better than the LA/Washington Nationals game that TNA was up against last week. The Thursday Night Football game lost some viewers on the NFL Network compared to last week but held pretty even on CBS, where most people watch.

We’ll see if they can keep the numbers up in the weeks to come.

Here are the numbers from the past month:

  • This week: 353K
  • October 13: 284K
  • October 6: 305K
  • September 29: 365K
  • September 22: 377K
