Mickie James & Roderick Strong react to their WWE NXT arrivals

Sometimes, NXT’s television tapings contain news big enough that WWE has to get in the game of breaking it, even though it spoils moments from future episodes of the show on their streaming Network.

Last night contained two of those moments - the announcement of former WWE Women’s champ Mickie James to face the unbeaten NXT Women’s champ Asuka in Toronto at the next live TakeOver special, and Roderick Strong’s debut alongside his historic tag partner Austin Aries.

Since they’re already out there in the web-o-sphere, James and Strong were as free to comment on the news as you or I.
