Last week’s episode left us wondering if anyone will ever be able to take down Matanza. Even when the Lucha Underground champ appears to be on the ropes, someone we thought was his enemy (Mil Muertes) runs in to keep the belt out of the hands of one of the most worthy contenders the Temple has to offer (Prince Puma).

Whether or not she has a real chance to defend Dario Cueto’s brother is debateable, but someone who’s guaranteed a shot at the belt steps into the spotlight this week. And Sexy Star is putting her title opportunity on the line when she faces Jack Evans for the Gift of the Gods championship.

The Worldwide Underground member may have to worry about more than just his opponent, however, seeing as teammate John Morrison wasn’t thrilled when Dario gave this match to Jack rather than him.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode, things get personal. Son of Havoc is full of Bagel Bites and looking for payback from Famous B for, among other things, bring Dr. Wagner Jr. to ruin his unique opportunity at Ultima Lucha Dos. And even though Pentagon Dark isn’t a constant presence, feuds keep popping up in his absence. Tonight, Chavo Guerrero and Rey Mysterio continue their families’ long history with one another in a match that builds off the one his apprentice, El Dragon Azteca Jr. had with Chavito for the right to face the ninja a couple weeks back.

Plus, we’ll be looking for clues to the dozens of other mysteries LU spins. Who’s sending ominous notes to Killshot? What’s up with the White Rabbit tribe? Does Ivelisse just have bad taste in men?

Find out at 8PM Eastern tonight, True Believers!
