Rumors for the Day:

• It does appear as though part of the reason the Royal Rumble was booked with Roman Reigns defending the title in the match was due to John Cena's injury.

• Apparently Triple H made the call for WWE.com to run stories on the situation with New Japan talents possibly coming to WWE. PW Insider notes the idea was just to drive traffic since news had already gotten out.

• Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Bad Luck Fale is in negotiations with New Japan. He could be one of the other rumored Bullet Club stars to be leaving.

• On top of that, PW Insider reports WWE is in talks with Rocky Romero. He may be brought in as a trainer or coach at the Performance Center.

• According to PW Insider, Konnor of The Ascension is dealing with a jaw injury right now and that's why he's been off WWE television.
