Rumor Roundup (Jan. 25, 2016): Major Raw surprise, lack of Rumble returns, Becky Lynch plans, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • MLW was teasing a big surprise for last night's Royal Rumble that they claimed was bigger than AJ Styles debut. They're standing by their story, but now say it will happen on tonight's Raw.
  • Apparently the reason the 2016 Rumble match didn't feature returning Legends as had become the norm was because they felt it wouldn't make sense to bring in older names with the WWE title on the line.
  • Looks like WWE isn't moving Becky Lynch out of the Divas title feud right away, as word is she'll be part of a Triple Threat at Fastlane with Sasha Banks and Charlotte.
  • There is no schedule for Tyson Kidd's return to the ring, but Cesaro recently told a fan it would be at least six more months.
  • Joey Styles reports that all episodes of ECW (Hardcore TV and on TNN) are being prepped for upload onto WWE Network. Delays were due to the promotion's use of unlicensed music for entrance themes.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
