Rumor Roundup (Jan. 23, 2016): Royal Rumble winner, Cesaro return, Lana absence, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

• Despite the odds, as of now Triple H isn't likely to win the Royal Rumble. It would be a surprise if it was anyone other than Roman Reigns.

• It's at least possible that Cesaro is ready to return to WWE by WrestleMania but it's expected he'll be back by April at the latest.

• The belief is Lana has been kept off television because of her leaking news of her engagement to Rusev to TMZ and it getting out while they were still feuding.

• Christian is apparently still under contract with WWE but he's done wrestling and will only be used for occasional appearances, as well as starring in a WWE Network show with Edge.

• Apparently ZZ is still dealing with an injury he suffered in training and we may not be seeing him anytime soon.
