Report: Austin Aries backstage at NXT tonight in Orlando, expected to debut soon

Just days ago, it was reported that Austin Aries would finally be signing with WWE after going through medicals in Pittsburgh. Today, PW Insider is reporting that he is backstage at the CFE Arena in Orlando, Florida where NXT is running a television taping.

They're also reporting he is expected to debut as early as tonight. It's entirely possible the company is currently in the process of signing him as of now so that he can debut ASAP.

Of course, it should be noted that he was backstage at another NXT taping late last year and, obviously, did not make an appearance. He would instantly become one of the best workers on the roster, and would add to what is a growing list of talent with the impending arrival of Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson, AJ Styles, and Shinsuke Nakamura, though the latter two are expected to immediately work the WWE main roster.
