NXT is live in Orlando's CFE Arena on the campus of the University of Central Florida tonight. The event serves as the promotion's presence on Royal Rumble weekend, and a taping for upcoming episodes of the weekly show broadcast on WWE Network every Wednesday.
We've discussed earlier that this is a rare non-sellout for NXT, likely because of the plethora of wrestling choices in the Orlando area this weekend, and because of it being in the brand's home base, where there are multiple opportunities to catch a NXT show. Triple H is obviously still hawking tickets for the 7:30PM Eastern opening bell.
But in a month full of big news and exciting rumors, who knows what might happen tonight. It's probably not AJ Styles, but maybe Karl Anderson shows up with NXT champ Finn Bálor? The Irishman's match against former NXT champ Neville is a recent addition to the card.
Or could it be Austin Aries, who followed up being at a 2015 taping with a trip to Pittsburgh - allegedly to obtain medical clearances to sign a WWE deal?
