WWE NXT live results (Jan. 13, 2016): Bayley's next challenger is...

Here's a place to check results and comment along with the latest airing of WWE NXT in its regular Wednesday night at 8PM Eastern time slot on WWE Network.

• Tom Phillips is introduced as returning to full-time play-by-play duties.

• General Manager William Regal welcomes us to NXT in 2016, and introduces Sami Zayn back to Full Sail. Sami declares that his goal is to become first two-time NXT champ, which brings out Samoa Joe. He threatens Zayn, and Baron Corbin when he comes out. A brawl ends with Sami dumping Corbin and Joe retreating.

• NXT Awards are announced: Finn Balor as Overall & Male Competitor of the Year, Bayley as Female Competitor, Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady as Tag Team, Sasha vs. Bayley from Brooklyn as Match of the Year and that was the TakeOver of the year.

• Tommaso Ciampa defeats Danny Burch via submission with an armbar

• Enzo & Cass have unfinished business with the tag champs.

• Regal announces Zayn vs. Corbin vs. Joe for next week to determine the #1 contender

• Dash & Dawson defeat The Ascension via pinfall following a Shatter Machine

• Nia Jax isn't in the main event because her neck is still recovering from London; Eva Marie laughs at her

• Elias Sampson defeats Corey Hollis via pinfall following a rolling neckbreaker

• Finn Balor says the NXT title isn't going anywhere

• Carmella outlasts Eva Marie, Cameron, Asuka, Emma, Deonna Purrazzo, Billie Kay, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Peyton Royce & Aliyah in a Battle Royal to become the #1 contender for the NXT Women's championship
