Rumors for the Day:

• Part of John Cena doing the Today show as often as he has been lately is to help change the perception of pro wrestling, according to the Observer. It's a strategy to help with advertisers on NBC Universal's part.

• Regarding Nikki Bella's injury, her reported issues are legit but the Observer notes some of the details could be part of a storyline for television, like Total Divas.

• Kurt Angle may still end up back in TNA after his contract comes up in 2016, even if it's a year later.

• According to the Observer, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly are again in talks with Ring of Honor and talks are "progressing." They've both been approached by WWE and TNA as well.

• Apparently the reason Lillian Garcia missed Raw this past week is because she lost her voice. There are no future plans to use Tony Chimel.
