WWE Hall of Famer cuts Instagram promo on 'over rated' Divas Revolution

Here's one for the "huh" file.

WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze, aka Madusa, went on a rant via her Instagram page last night about WWE's current Divas Revolution storyline. Prompted by a moment from this past Monday's Raw Miz TV segment (that I honestly didn't catch live, but that you can hear here) where a fan screamed the former Women's champion's name and Nikki Bella dismissed it with a hand gesture, Blayze alternately praises and rips most of the current women's roster in the lengthy screed you can read below:

#Justmyopinion I believe at about half way through this promo, (which was a bad ass promo) the moment and #mood miss @thenikkibella was in, she heard my name being yelled from the audience on #wwe #mondaynightraw and threw up her hand, as I threw up in my mouth to just ignore the fact the forever existence of #AlundraBlayze IS the REAL REVOLUTIONARY That started this #revolution #willneverevergoaway Not to mention #pipebomb #you'renotAJ @realpaigewwe calling the @wwenxt championship "The" women's championship..... Meh! Well let's just call it like I see it.... Most of you are over rated! Half of you cannot wrestle, some just sound illiterate as soon as you open your pie hole, all so disrespectful . If I were you all I would be watching your back! You never know who @natbynature might show up with just to bitch slap a few across the face for a receipt! Oh and where in the hell is #teambad #tobusywithglowsticks and things that #glowinthedark as far as I am concerned @charlottewwe and @wwebeckylynch have it going on at the moment ! But what the hell do I know...... I am 50, past my time and have been reported as an ugly bitch! I have three words you can call me #Bossassbitch

If this is a shoot, Blayze seems a little misinformed, since the NXT title is called the "women's" title as opposed to the main roster "Divas" championship. And a bit two-faced, as this is also a change of stance for someone who's been complimentary toward the current WWE roster in interviews and on the episode of WWE Network's Table for 3 with fellow legends Ivory & Molly Holly that debuted just last week.

If it's a work, which certainly could be the case since she goes after the heels like Nikki Bella, Paige and Team B.A.D. while supporting Natalya, Charlotte and Becky Lynch, it could be an interesting way to bring the history of women's wrestling back to the company...and possibly the old Women's title that Madusa trashed on Nitro back in 1995.

Whether or not it's a WWE-approved storyline, or just Blayze trying to stir something up on her own, is another question to consider.

Thoughts, Cagesiders? Would bringing back some past Women's greats be a cool storyline, or just clog up an already crowded scene? Is anything worth it if it gets rid of the butterfly belt?
