After Raw, WWE Network aired a panel discussion from SummerSlam week. Triple H, Seth Rollins, Corey Graves, Sasha Banks, Finn Bálor and Kevin Owens discussed the evolution of the main roster feeder system from Developmental to its own brand, from local federation Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) to globally televised NXT.
If you're a devoted follower of the show, you've heard most of the topics and soundbites before from interviews and Hunter's pre-TakeOver conference calls & Twitter question and answer sessions. But it's a worthwhile 45 minutes, if for nothing else than getting a bit of a feel for what it was like to be in Brooklyn during SummerSlam.
What jumped out at me, Bayley super-fan (sub-Izzy class) and believer that she can make a ton of money for all involved if WWE just doesn't screw up her character, was a quote from current Intercontinental champ and legendary curmudgeon Kevin Owens. Outing himself as a big fan of the Hugster, KO revealed:
When she comes out at a show, the genuine happiness of people in the room is infectious. It even gets to me.
BAYLEY CAN EVEN MELT THE COLD FRENCH-CANADIAN HEART OF A PRIZEFIGHTING MERCENARY LIKE KEVIN OWENS.
Truly, the NXT Women's champion can work miracles.
