Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The reason The Rock vs. Brock Lesnar isn't on the table for WrestleMania 32 is because WWE is apparently still planning on going ahead with Rock vs. Triple H, according to the Observer.
  • Ronda Rousey won't be making WrestleMania 32 as the company was originally planning but the hope is they can still put together a match with Stephanie McMahon at some point in the future.
  • The Seth Rollins vs. Kane WWE world heavyweight championship match at Hell in a Cell is expected to be a Hell in a Cell match.
  • While there have been budget cuts for Lucha Underground's second season, apparently the company is working hard to ensure those cuts won't be noticeable in the finished television product.
  • Speaking of Lucha Underground, there is continued talk of Rey Mysterio signing. Elsewhere, the Observer notes that Marty the Moth will have an increased role next season and Vampiro may be moved away from commentary to manage Pentagon Jr.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
