X gon' give it to ya, and you Smarks keep giving him The S3

New, comments

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week's nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE's Night of Champions pay-per-view (PPV), the September 21 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Wednesday's WWE NXT, TNA Impact and ROH TV, WWE SmackDown from September 24, and whatever other internet streaming wrestling that aired from September 20 - September 26.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Knock Knock

Who's there?

X

X who?

  • At least the now two-time tag champs dominance at the top was slightly broken up by the partner in awesome fighting through shoot tears to spit kayfabe fire on NXT.
  • A guy who hadn't even won his first Intercontinental title yet (and one who retained his Ring of Honor (ROH) World & Television championships) got slightly more love than New Day's former four-time IC champ. Poor Kofi...always a bridesmaid...
  • Only getting a show-opening promo on Thursday night instead of Monday AND Thursday night didn't stop the WWE champ from picking up some Standings points.
  • The NXT Women's champ got a hero's welcome, and one of the best female wrestlers not employed by WWE won her fifth Knockouts title.

He may not have been able to claim his red, white and blue belt, but a certain prizefighter is sneaking up on Cena's #2 spot on our annual list, while B.A.D. Day is taking over the bottom half of the Performer of the Year Standings.
