Rumor Roundup (Sept. 22, 2015): Latest on Sting, Chris Jericho's WWE future, Scott Hall in NXT, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • Reports were all over the place on Sting, and apparently Vince McMahon wanted him on Raw to either tease a future program or update the crowd on his injury. But too much unknown about the nature and severity of his injuries, the decision was made to not address it.
  • Though they're definitely setting up a possible angle between Chris Jericho & Dean Ambrose, it likely won't be addressed until 2016. PWInsider reports Y2J isn't booked for any more televised dates this year (not counting the Madison Square Garden show) and Fozzy is touring in November & December. A WrestleMania program is a possibility.
  • Scott Hall has expressed an interest in working with WWE's Developmental roster at the Performance Center. As long as he's taking care of himself, which he appears to be doing again, WWE is open to having him there as a part-time resource.
  • Booker T has plans to expand his Reality of Wrestling promotion, buying new space in Houston and formalizing agreements with WWE and a partnership with hip-hop artist/super-fan Wale, who was backstage at Night of Champions, in part to meet with Booker.
  • In what could be seen as a good sign for the WWE Women's scene, tryouts at the PC last weekend featured numerous females who were said to make a good impression, including Daria Berenato from Tough Enough and SHINE's Allysin Kay.

If you have heard of any interesting rumors that you'd like to add, feel free to post them in the comments section below. Just remember they are rumors and not confirmed as fact, so please take them as such. Have fun with it.
