Rumor Roundup (Sept. 18, 2015): Sting WWE title win, Hulk Hogan, mystery man at Night of Champions, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Rumors for the Day:

  • It is at least possible that Sting wins the WWE world heavyweight championship from Seth Rollins at Night of Champions to set up another match at Hell in a Cell where they would switch the title back.
  • The Wrestling Observer Newsletter brings word that WWE has told its talent, even those who don't wrestle but are still affiliated, to avoid contact with Hulk Hogan.
  • There's now some more talk of Chris Jericho being the mystery partner for Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose at Night of Champions.
  • According to MLW Radio, WWE may be interested in bringing back Carlito.
  • The Observer notes that Amanda from Tough Enough has signed with WWE and will be replacing Naomi (Trinity) in the next season of Total Divas.
